Orangery—the word is as charming as the lovely building you find yourself in, a greenhouse built especially to nurture the juicy and tasty oranges. Outside is cool and blustery, but here, in the orangery, it’s warm and cozy. The orange trees are blossoming, and their sweet scent fills the air. Throughout the orangery, petals decorate the ground in a fragrant carpet.

Sit on the cushioned garden bench to better gaze at the many trees and the glass-paned roof. A breeze comes in an open window, and a flurry of petals begin to fall, alighting on you softly. Catch some petals in your cupped hands, and crush them gently. Bring your hands to your nose, and breathe in the essential oils. Take another deep breath of this wonderfully cheerful and relaxing scent.
