Something is sparkling in the sunlight on the ground in front of you. It's a penny. “A symbol of good luck!” you say to yourself. Pick up the penny. It’s shiny, and it has your birth year on it. Slip it into a purse or pocket.

You feel as if your luck has increased already.  Go about your day looking for luck. See all the good things that happen all day. Keep that penny in your pocket every day if you like! In the morning, when you put the penny in your pocket, make a vow to look for all the good, lucky, and happy things that happen to you throughout your day. Reflect on them in the evening when you put your penny in a safe place!
