The riches deep in the earth have long tempted seekers of treasure. You find that you too are not immune to tales of diamonds, emeralds, rubies, sapphires, and gold and silver coins spilling out of chests. A treasure map leads you to a small wooden door hidden in a craggy hillside.
With a bit of trepidation, you open the door and enter a tunnel that leads deep into the mountain. Continue until you reach a large cavern lit with softly glowing candles.
A group of kindly miners, barely taller than the small tunnel door they block, do not seem surprised by your visit. “We are willing to share our treasure,” they say, “but before you can pass, you must answer this question. What is the kindest thing you can say to yourself at this moment?” What do you answer? Do they let you pass? What do you see?
